‘Work Matters’ Dialogue
The State Exchange on Employment and Disability is seeking ideas for state policies that support individuals with disabilities as they navigate the employment process and efforts to include disability-owned businesses in targeted state procurement, certification, and financial incentive policies. Through the “Work Matters: Supporting Self-Employment and Entrepreneurship” online dialogue, SEED seeks to gather feedback that builds upon the state policy options presented in the Work Matters report. Share your insights on policies that states can develop or implement to ensure that state workforce development systems support entrepreneurship and self-employment as viable employment options for people with disabilities. The last day to participate is November 9.
