Management and Employee Training

In today's workplace, everyone is so busy that they don't want to take the time to participate in training.  We have seen that dreaded look as participants enter the training room thinking about all the work they could be doing instead of participating in the program.

We design programs that are interactive, informative and thought-provoking to challenge the employee to think outside of their normal job.  Our goal is to quickly extinguish that dreaded look and replace it with an inquisitive one.  We design exercises and case studies to fit with your business so that the participant can immediately apply learned skills using realistic situations.  We also may use video, role-plays, and other visual aids.

Since we offer many different types of training, our approach varies based on the client's needs.  However, when designing programs it is our ultimate goal to reduce the risk of employment litigation through management and employee education.

Our topics are varied, but remain in the compliance arena.  Sample training list:

Respectful Workplace Behavior
Applying Employment Laws to HR Practices (federal and state)
Management Skill Development
Interviewing and Hiring Skills
Internet Applicant compliance
Diversity and Inclusion
Yikes – I've just received a Discrimination Charge and Don't Know What To Do
How to Develop a Valuable Employee
What's New at OFCCP
Understanding your Affirmative Action Plan
Ethics  and Compliance

"Since meeting Debra Milstein Gardner in 2008 when she provided our Company's managers with Employment Law training, we have been impressed by her professionalism, presentation and candidness - so much so that we invited her back to conduct a second training session!  Her training was outstanding, and employee feedback was so positive that we made the decision to hire her to help us in completing our 2009 Affirmative Action Plan.  We previously employed another company to complete our plan, which proved to be a daunting annual task - we were provided with little more than a blank spreadsheet and a template and asked to essentially complete all the work and customization ourselves.  In the end, we were left with reports that were difficult to understand.  We have just received the completed 2009 AAP by Workplace Dynamics, and are pleased to note that their involvement went way beyond; they continually asked questions, were thorough, and strived for accuracy in all areas.  I want to thank them for the support they have provided, and now feel confident that we have a "compliant" AAP.  I also appreciate their routinely reaching out to us with informative compliance updates.  It has been a pleasure to work with Debra Milstein Gardner and I look forward to continuing a successful relationship with Workplace Dynamics."
